IS THERE A FEE FOR YOUR SERVICES?

IS THERE A FEE FOR YOUR SERVICES?

Nope! When you book with me, there are no additional fees for the services I provide. The vendors pay me a commission that is already built into your package price regardless of if you use a travel agent or not.

what are the benefits of using a travel agent?

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING A TRAVEL AGENT?

Discount monitoring – even once you book I continue to monitor for new offers and will make sure you end up with the lowest price!
Stress free vacation plan, because I take care of all the details- dining, fastpasses, transportation… you name it and I can help with it.

Connection – when you book direct, every time you call or email you will be speaking to a different person. When you book with me, you will be speaking direct with me every single time and I will know all of the details of your trip.

Extensive knowledge – as part of an authorized agency, I go through mandatory trainings several times a year. That paired with the fact that I am an avid traveler visiting Disney World several times a year as well as different cruise lines and other destinations that I sell, give me a vast amount of knowledge about all sorts of destinations.

In case of emergency help- Whether you are already in the park and need to change an upcoming dining reservation or have a situation more out of the ordinary (like a pandemic sweeping the nation resulting in your vacation being canceled!) I am there to make sure things are taken care of. That means more time to enjoy with your family and less time spent on hold.

Pixie Dust- I treat every client like a great friend and make sure to add a little extra magic to your trip whenever possible!

Do you only book Disney World vacations?

Do you only book Disney World vacations?

Although I specialize in Disney World vacations (I have been there over 40 times!), there are so many other destinations that I have extensive training for and book for clients. Some of these include Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, Aulani, Sandals & Beaches, Palace Resorts, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian, and many other all inclusive, cruises and tours!

Do you know when promos/Holiday parties/2028 packages/etc. will be released?

DO YOU KNOW WHEN FREE DINING/HOLIDAY/2021 PACKAGES/ETC. WILL BE RELEASED?

Normally discounts and new packages are released around the same time frames each year. I will not be able to provide you the exact date that any of these will be released, but the best way for you to make sure to take advantage is to add yourself to my "watch list". If you know you want to travel in the following year or are looking for a specific discount, send me your inquiry form now and we will be prepared as soon as the offer drops!

I like to book my own dining/MULTIPASSES/etc- are there any benefits of booking with a travel agent in that instance?

I like to book my own dining/fastpasses/etc- are there any benefits of booking with a travel agent in that instance?

When you book your travel with me you can be as hands on or hands off as you wish! If you are the type of person that finds joy in booking your own dining and lightening lanes- that's fine! I will be here as a direct line of support if you have any questions or want opinions while mapping out your plans. Meanwhile, I will still monitor for additional discounts and be a point person in case of any last minute changes or emergencies. Most importantly, by booking with me you are helping me grow my travel business!

I’ve already booked my trip directly, can I still utilize your services?

I’ve already booked my trip directly, can I still utilize your services?

The short answer is yes. Each travel destination has different guidelines about how long you can wait to do this after you make your reservation . For example, Disney will let you transfer up to 30 days after you book whereas Royal Caribbean will allow you to up to 60 days after. To inquire about your specific booking, send me an email! I will make sure it is an easy process for both of us!

Why should I use a travel advisor instead of booking directly?

Why should I use a travel advisor instead of booking directly?

In many cases, my services are provided at no additional cost to you, so you get the benefit of expert guidance without paying more.
When you work with me, you're getting more than just a reservation. I'll help you choose the right destination, resort, cruise, or package based on your family's needs and budget. I also monitor promotions, answer questions, provide planning guidance, and serve as a resource before and during your trip. So essentially, you get a planning partner rather than just a booking engine.

What happens after I submit a free quote request form?

What happens after I submit a free quote request form?

Once you submit a request, I'll review your information and reach out within 48 hours (up to 72 if it is a weekend). From there, we'll discuss your vacation goals, budget, travel style, and any must-do experiences. After gathering those details, I'll begin researching options and creating recommendations tailored specifically to you. Together, we'll narrow down the perfect fit and start planning the fun details.

When should I start planning my trip?

When should I start planning my trip?

The sooner the better! For Disney World vacations, booking starts over a year out. Thinking about a vacation 2 years from now? Sign up for emails so you are the first to know when packages are released and make sure you email me and have me add you to my watch list. Decided last minute that you want to take a cruise for your birthday a month from now? We can make that happen! (Fun fact, my last cruise with Royal Caribbean my sister & I booked FIVE DAYS beforehand and we had a BLAST!)

What is the perfect age to bring my child on their first Disney trip?

What is the perfect age to bring my child on their first Disney trip?

I don't think there is any one right answer to this. There are so many perfect moments for kids of all ages and I think that makes this so subjective. I've gone with children around a year old, and although they won't remember the trip necessarily, you will have such special memories. Three is a great age because most kids that age are fearless and love everything because they don't know what "scary" is yet. 5-7 year olds start to fully grasp what is going on around them and will have fond memories of the trip later on. Even teenagers can have a great time at Disney (even if some won't admit it!)- bring them to Epcot to snack around the world! When it comes down to it, you know your child best and will know in your heart when it is the right time.

When is the best time of year to go to disney?

When is the best time of year to go to disney?

Another question that is so subjective. I've been to Disney World at all different times of the year and I don't think I can truly pick which time is "best". January and February are great because it is typically cooler if you don't do well with the heat. The spring time has the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot which is my personal favorite festival. Summertime, although it can be hot and humid, is usually a great time for families to go because the kids are on summer break and do not have to worry about missing school work. In the fall comes Food & Wine as well as Halloween- my favorite ticketed event to attend. And the winter holidays are absolutely magical.

Is Disney World worth visiting without children?

Is Disney World worth visiting without children?

Take one look at my travel history and you'll know my answer is 100% YES. Although I hope to become a mom soon, I've been going to Disney on adult only trips- either solo, girls trips or with my husband- for many years. Going without young children means not having to child swap for all the big rides, exploring all of the dining options available like signature dining or just snacking at the EPCOT festivals, so many delicious cocktails, and not worrying about a late night at the park if there are extended hours.

Even Disney Cruise Line, Aulani in Hawaii and Adventures by Disney have activities and options catered specifically to adult travelers.

What is Lightning Lane and do I need it?

What is Lightning Lane and do I need it?

Lightning Lane allows guests to skip much of the standby line for select attractions.
Whether it's worth purchasing depends on your travel dates, priorities, budget, and the attractions you hope to experience. I'll help you decide if it makes sense for your vacation and show you how to get the most value from it.

What's your favorite Disney resort?

What's your favorite Disney resort?

My answer is always changing!

Some of my personal favorites include Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge for its incredible atmosphere and savanna views, Pop Century for the skyliner access and budget friendly pricing and Disney's BoardWalk area resorts for their location and convenience.

But, ask me tomorrow and you might get a different answer!

Why did you start blogging?

Why did you start blogging?

Back in 2016 I was working a job that didn't have any room for creativity and I felt that I needed an outlet in order to feel more whole. I very slowly started working on a basic Wordpress blog where I could express my love of Disney, fashion, and talk about what is going on in my life. I believe that what you put into the universe comes back to you and a few months later I actually landed a job back in the Fashion industry! I continued to work on the site and launched my blog in January of 2017. Over the years I have gone through periods of loving to write and others where I do not feel as inspired to- and that's okay! I still try to write as an outlet so I do not want it to ever feel forced, but I also love the feeling when I write about something personal and it strikes a cord with someone that read it.

how long have you been a travel agent?

how long have you been a travel agent?

I started with my first agency in the summer of 2018 so I currently have about 8 years of experience!

how and why did you become a travel agent?

HOW AND WHY DID YOU BECOME A TRAVEL AGENT?

Although I had thought about becoming a travel agent for many years, I never had found something that felt like the right fit until I found my first agency. As I'm sure you can imagine, for many years I helped so many family and friends plan their Disney vacations. A family friend approached me and asked why I wasn't working as a travel agent since I'm basically doing all of the work anyway. She referred me to a family member and the rest is history! I love being a travel agent because planning vacations for people are a rush- even though I'm not the one actually traveling. My favorite part is when people return from their trip and they share some of the magical details with me. It makes me happy to know that I had a part in making that happen.

Why is your brand called Dream Along With Lisa?

Why is your brand called Dream Along With Lisa?

For my long time Disney fans, you may remember a castle show called Dream Along With Mickey, which closed back in April 2016. This show is still one of my all time favorites, it gave me all the feels and made me feel like I could make all my dreams come true. I started my blog with the name Dream Along With Lisa just before the show was closing, it was my way of keeping the dream alive and giving me a little daily remember about the message the show was sending. And for the record, I have a photo of me sobbing like a baby on the final show day because of course I had to be there for the very last time.

Over the years, the brand has stayed the same but I've built on what it means (I mean, I've had 10 years to do so!). The travel piece embodies making families dreams come true when they travel so that they can relax and focus on making memories. But more than that, I hope to inspire others to follow there own dreams just like Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy did years ago.

How often do you go to Disney?

How often do you go to Disney?

It depends on my season of life and other travel plans, but I make sure to go at minimum once a year, although usually it is more. I am currently an annual passholder and have been to Disney World over 40 times now! In 2026 I have 3 trips planned down there since there are so many new attractions, shows and food being offered. Last year, 2025, I actually took a break from Disney World but was able to go to Disneyland for the 3rd time to see what I've been missing on the west coast!

tell us more about optimus and nell!

Optimus and Nell are my fur babies- Optimus is a 95 pound German Shepherd and Nell is a 20 pound Sato (aka a rescue from Puerto Rico). Nell was tested for her breed and turns out she is a rat terrier/chihuahaha/dalmation/alaskan eskimo/pekinese mix (I was as shocked as you!). Both of my babies are around 8 years old, are the loves of my life, and absolutely run our household and lives (and they know it!)
